BACKGROUND
Hoedjiesbaai Lodge was established in July 2008 and was renamed and rebranded Saldanha Bay
Accommodation in January 2018 consisting of Saldanha Bay Lodge and Saldanha Bay Inn at the time. “Hoedjiesbaai” proved to be too much of a tongue-twister. It is 100% Black Female Owned with a Level 1 BBBEE Score.

Gaynor Francke is the sole owner and a dedicated black female entrepreneur with diverse experience ranging from retail, aviation to hospitality and tourism and together with her team, Saldanha Bay Accommodation has managed to acquire a substantial amount of the property in Saldanha from which to run these accommodation establishments. ACCOMMODATION
Saldanha Bay Accommodation, a leading hospitality provider in the quaint town of Saldanha Bay,
welcomes you to experience the essential blend of comfort, convenience and affordability. With three
distinct establishments under our umbrella, namely, Saldanha Bay Lodge, Saldanha Bay Inn and
Saldanha Bay Backpackers - we cater to a diverse range of guests with varying needs, preferences
and budgets.

CATERING
We provide delicious home cooked meals for breakfast, lunch/lunchpack and dinner. Meals are served
in our dining area, as in-room dining or take-aways.
As part of our conference package, meals are tailor-made with our customer’s preferences in mind.

CONFERENCING

Conferencing facilities are available at our Saldanha Bay Inn venue, where we can accommodate up
to 40 delegates cinema style and 25 delegates classroom style. All conferencing amenities and
stationery are provided. Our full conference package includes accommodation, meals and conferencing. Transport may be arranged at an additional cost.

TRANSPORT

Our 9-seater Hyundai H1 bus is available for transfers, shuttle services and tours. Additional transport services are available upon request.
