MontourDesign (Pty) Ltd

MontourDesign is a creative studio based along the Cape Whale Coast in the Western Cape. We help tourism and hospitality businesses connect with people through shortfilm direction, hands-on art workshops, and published research.

What We Offer:

• Shortfilm Direction (Fractional): We step in as your fractional creative director to shape concepts, strategy, and scripts for short form films—focusing on real people and genuine workplace moments before handing off to your production team.
• Art Retreats & Creative Workshops: We run hands-on art sessions, including mosaic-making, painting, and drawing, giving guests a chance to slow down, create, and connect off-screen.
• Research & Writing: Backed by doctoral-level research, we write articles for academic journals on art, teaching, and local culture, bringing practical ideas back to the tourism space.
• Local Creative Promotion: Through creativelywhalecoast.co.za (via Substack and Instagram), we document and evolve alongside local Western Cape talent, reflecting regional creativity for both local and international audiences.

Rooted along the Cape Whale Coast with a global perspective, MontourDesign helps South African tourism businesses tell real stories and host meaningful experiences.
