FEDHASA is recognised by government and industry role players as the Voice of the S.A. hospitality industry, influencing policy-decision and direction by lobbying government on unfair legislation applicable to the hospitality industry, since 1949. Our objective is to grow an inclusive hospitality industry by advocating, enhancing, and promoting the development and growth of a sustainable South African hospitality-trading
environment.

FEDHASA uniquely holds two Registrations that set it apart from other industry Associations:

• Employers’ Body, giving you as the employer (of FEDHASA member) access to representation at CCMA-level should the need arise (With this registration, we also managed to win the legal case to stop the extension of the Bargaining Council agreement in 2021.)
• Industry Trade Association operating as a Section 21 Company (not for gain)
